"Way back in November 2006, we wrote a feature called "IGN's Top 50 Lost Loose Ends." At the time, even though we were big fans of Lost (and remain so) we were getting pretty frustrated with the show and its lack of answers. The third season had just begun and it felt like fans were getting more way more questions than actual answers.
After a mind-bending third season finale and a truly stellar fourth season, we now look at Lost differently. It feels like a lot's been answered in the last two years, so we decided to take a look back and see just how much we know now about those little loose ends that were driving us nuts a couple years ago.
Please note that the purpose of this article is just to look back at what we know now about our original list of 50 loose ends. We completely realize that there have been new questions raised since then -- and we'll address those in a future feature article.
