LOST "The End"
A few thoughts about the finale:
I was hoping that Jack would turn into a smoke monster when the light came back on in the heart of the island. Then I thought he was dead. When they showed his body on the rocks, I thought that he was the smoke monster again, until i woke up and then I knew that he would go and die close his eye and LOST.
I am not happy that the outrigger scene was not revisited. There were some other questions and things that didn't get touched. I think as time goes by, I will appreciate the ending more, but I'm not satisfied at the moment.

How Much Time Have You LOST This Week?
LOST is an important part of my life. Each week, I look forward to my LOST parties on Wednesday nights. I can’t wait to hear the LOST Podcast with Jay and Jack to see what they thought about the show, and what the listeners thought as well. I also check out whatever the Official LOST Podcast/Video Podcast is released each Thursday. I’m glad Jay and Jack have a Monday show, because I don’t really listen to other podcasts. I sometimes check out the Transmission.
I will miss LOST even more this year, due to the LOST parties. I think we’ll have to have some kind of LOST rewatch parties during the long wait for season 6.
Anyway, my question is how much of your time is devoted to LOST during the season? Is it just the 1 hour of TV time/DVR time? Do you watch previews and clips? Do you read the blogs?
LOST and 30 Rock
I loved Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live, so I’ve been meaning to watch 30 Rock for a while. I started watching season 1 several weeks ago and finally started watching the rest today. One of the episode I watched “The Source Awards.” This episode included two special guest stars: L.L. Cool J and Wayne Brady. Wayne Brady played “Tracy Jordan’s” new business manager. He and Liz went on a couple of dates. On the first dates, she asks him “What do you think about this season of LOST?”, and Wayne Brady tells Liz that he doesn’t own a TV. Anyway, I like it when other shows make reference to LOST. I’ve posted about Chuck previously, and Dwight on The Office has mentioned LOST several times and I think that’s cool.

Who is the Bad Guy on LOST?
Ben has obviously done a lot of bad things, but he's always tried to tell us that he is one of the good guys. For some reason, I want to believe him.
Charles Widmore has been a jerk to Desmond, killed another other back in 1954 and most importantly sent a team of mercenaries to the island with guns and C4. Both seem like bad guys.
The latest episode of LOST makes me want to change my mind to "Ben really is the bad guy, and Widmore really is the good guy." I guess we shall have to wait and see.
What do you think?

LOST 316 & John 316
LOST Season 5 Episode 6 was entitled "316." The flight that took the Oceanic 5 + Ben and Frank back to the island was Ajira Airways Flight 316.
The obvious Biblical reference is John 3:16 probably the most famous Bible verse.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
This verse is one of the summaries of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through Christ's atoning death on the cross, people have the opportunity to have their sins forgiven and have eternal life. Here's a more in depth look at the gospel.
Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
John 14:6
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
I John 5:11-12
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Romans 10:13
for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

"The Constant" - Top Ten TV Episodes from TIME
1. Lost, "The Constant"
At its best, Lost rips your heart out while it ties your brain in a knot. This season 4 episode did both expertly. Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) has been experiencing premonitions of the future since becoming "unstuck in time" (a la Slaughterhouse Five) earlier in the series. It turns out that he's been time-traveling, or rather, his mind has: his consciousness is journeying between present, future and past. (It makes sense when you watch, trust me.) The unfortunate side effects of this condition are madness and death, avoidable only by focusing on a "constant": a person or thing present in each time one's consciousness visits. Desmond's constant, he learns, is Penny (Sonya Walger), the girlfriend he left behind when he was stranded on Lost's mysterious island. His journey into his own past to find her in the present is tear-jerking and mind-blowing.

Ask Ausiello LOST Update
Question: In a just-released ABC press release about Lost, it
states that Jeremy Davies and Ken Leung will be part of the main cast, but Rebecca Mader is not. Do you have any information that may explain this? -- Eric
Ausiello: Jeremy and Ken are series regulars; Rebecca is not.
Easy peesy. In other Lost news, awesome promo alert!
