After numerous jokes and a few poor questions from the audience, here is the note-worthy stuff:

*Confirmed Michael’s return (duh!) but would not elaborate any further on how or when that would be in Season 4

*We will be seeing more flash-forwards and flashbacks

*Jack and Claire will realize they are siblings in Season 4

*Ben was accidentally captured by Rousseau and we will find out why/how soon

*What we saw with Jack and Kate was not the end of the show, says Lindelof “The show has never really been about getting off the Island. There is this whole chapter of the story that takes place off the Island”

*Harold Perrineau shows up and discusses his character, acknowledges that he will again be a “regular” on the show, confirms that we will be seeing him earlier in Season 4

*We could potentially get another TLE during the hiatus between Season 4 & Season 5

*It is confirmed that the Richard Alpert character may not appear at all next season, or if so, probably in a limited fashion. Makes sense given the actor has committed to another show at this point

*We will get Libby’s story this year, it will not be disappointing, and it was hinted at that she may have worked for DHARMA

Nestor Carbonell not to appear in Season 4?

It appears that a personal favorite will not be a part of the future of LOST, which is going to complicate things I would assume for Damon and Carlton. Richard was leading what was left of the Others to the Temple, and now it seems he will not be there once we return to the Others storyline.

If you don't want to know anything about the upcoming season 4 of LOST do not read any further. July 25th, it was confirmed that Harold Perrineau, Jr. "Michael" will return to LOST. At the time that Test Pattern was reporting this, there was no news on whether or not Michael and Walt would return together, but I would assume that. They may be a part of the Flash Forwards that everyone has been interested in since the season 3 finale.

The trailer for J.J. Abrams/Drew Goddard's new movie "Cloverfield" now available. It looks awesome. From the trailer, it appears to have a Blair Witch Project feels of a hand held camcorder with a single perspective. This is a very interesting trailer to say the least.

Why a TOS film instead of another TNG film? (or even a new cast and crew)
The short answer is this is the story that Abrams (and his writers) want to tell.

Clearly Paramount had lost faith in Rick Berman and the rest of the Trek team (and possibly casts) and they have quite a lot of faith in Abrams. In addition Abram’s deal with Paramount gives him an unprecedented amount of creative control, including final cut. It is important to note that after the failures of both Star Trek Enterprise and Star Trek Nemesis the franchise was essentially dormant until JJ Abrams made it clear to Paramount that if they wanted him, he wanted Trek. Even though it may be Abrams idea, Paramount probably see it as a ‘get back to basics’ origin story along the lines of Warner’s Batman Begins, MGM’s Bond ‘restart’ Casino Royale and Fox’s 3 Star Wars prequels.

I can tell you that producers definitely have made an offer for Harold Perrineau to return in the new season, which they also did last season (Harold declined because he was working on a pilot). Back then, Harold was offered a truckload of money. Now, sources tell me he wants that same truckload. The question is whether he will receive it—hence, the holdup. I, for one, am happy to empty out my piggy bank and couch cushions and contribute to the H.P. Fund, for I miss him so. Who's with me?!
